One Day, One Hymn will take place on Sat., Nov. 16, from 10 AM to 3 PM at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7950 West Pinnacle Peak Road, in Peoria, Arizona.

Participants of the third "One Day" choral event recorded a new SATB arrangement of "Christ is Born! Glorify Him!" inside the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, on September 21, 2019. Meeting new friends, rehearsing and enjoying fellowship for a day, singing about the birth of Christ while surrounded by beautiful iconography, this unique pan-Orthodox choral event brought parishioners together from Tucson up to Prescott, including visitors from California and Florida! The second Pan-Orthodox "One Day, One Hymn, One Church" event was held Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Phoenix, Arizona, drawing parishioners from throughout the state for a day of music and fellowship. Under the direction of Fr. Michael Pallad, the "One Hymn" for the day featured "O Pure Virgin" by Saint Nectarios of Aegina, arranged for SATB and Youth Choir. The first-of-its-kind Arizona pan-Orthodox choral event, One Day, One Hymn, One Church, was held in the Speros Community Center at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday, September 22, 2018. From Prescott down to Tucson, 83 parishioners and friends registered for the choral fellowship event.
Beginning with vocal warm-ups, a new choral arrangement of Psalm 23 by Father Michael Pallad was then handed out. Following full group and section rehearsals, a lunch break, and some fun music exercises, a professional video recording of the final run-through was made (see it below) and posted to our Facebook page.
